Sly kids in a hole
Lily was getting frustrated, every time she would dig a hole, Jack Jack would get all comfy and sit in it. It was too cute

Family time
We decided to make another trip to Morro Bay the weekend before school started. We decided we needed one more day of fun before the real fun began with school. The night before we left Scott decided that he didn't want to come with me. He was upset with me because I needed him to help me clean the house, and he had other plans. He was upset so let him stay home. I promised the kids fun in the sand and that is just want we did. We packed up and went to the cold, windy beach. Melanie brought Lily and Joel, the others were busy. It turned out just a girls trip, then at about 1:00 we notice some familiar faces walking across the sand. It was Scott and his parents. They decided to come up and join us. When I asked Scott if he was still upset with me he said he couldn't stay upset. I am so glad he got to come and spend time with his kids. Three days after this trip he was diagnosed with Leukemia. He wasn't feeling well on the trip but had fun regardless. I am so glad we got to get away before school started and we learned of his diagnosis. We were always so spontaneous, and I know I will continue to be.
