What I love about my kids...

My children bring sunshine to my life and I love them each for their own special traits and individualities. I am guilty of complaining about the nonstop responsibility of having three kids under five years old, but I am trying really hard to be more positive about my responsibilities as a mother. I know that life would be easier without such a huge job, but what would life be like without the need to mother such beautiful children. I can not imagine what I would do without them and I know that there is nothing I wouldn't do for them. Now that I am on summer vacation for a few more weeks I have had time to be home with them everyday and I have had to be very patient with the trying episodes that go on in our home during the day. I will gladly take the diaper changing, meal preparing, house cleaning, laundry folding, story reading, toy cleaning job of raising three beautiful children anyday. I thought that I would take some time to reflect on why I love each of my kids.

Madison
Madison is definately Mommy's little girl. She wants to copy me and do EVERYTHING that I do. What 4 year old that can't read loves to play Bananagrams? My daughter. She loves school and loves to play preschool with her brothers. She loves to write and make lists, her new favorite thing to do is write stories, I wish I could read them. She is a cuddlebug and loves to be anywhere that I am. This has caused some difficulty going to bed at night. She loves to comb mommy's hair and play beauty parlor. She has a loving touch with Jackson (now Carson, that is a different story) and loves to take care of him, especially when he is eating. She loves her family so much and loves to have sleep overs at aunties houses so she can be with her cousins. Her favorite color is pink, favorite princess is definately Ariel. I love that she can find any excuse to get out of her bed. She will come out numerous times to get a hug, or kiss, or my new favorite "I want to give you a high 5". She will even come out to ask me random questions like "Mom when are you going to take me to Red Robin?" I should be thrilled that she wants to be with me every waking minute, but sometimes mommy needs quiet time too. Madison is growing so much, I can't believe that 4 1/2 years ago I did not have any children. She is definately sassy and bossy when her cousins are over, but we love that too! Madison you will always be Mommy's shadow!

Carson
Carson has always been my independent little boy. He has never been a real affectionate little boy. He has always wanted to be left alone. He hated being rocked to sleep, sad I know. He has never wanted to sleep in our bed. That is a good thing because I am not sure that Madison would allow him to join in. He does have times that he wants his Mommy thankfully and there are times when nothing else is good enough. He loves TRAINS, Lightning McQueen, marshmallows, donuts, chocolate milk, our cat Tommy, and playing outside. He is a little chatterbox. One of my favorite things that he says is "Come on guys, I have something to show ya!" He loves talking on the phone and has a wonderful memory. I love having sons and Carson is such a little boy. He brightens my world and brings sheer happiness when he comes busting out of his room in the morning with a story to tell, he isn't even quiet first thing in the morning. He is independent and self reliant which makes him an easy child, even with his temper he is hard to not love. Carson you are a sweet heart and Mommy loves you!!

Jackson
I still can not believe that Jackson is almost a year old. He is such a happy and easy baby it isn't even funny. He loves to play and dump everything out of boxes, drawers, bookshelves, totes, cubbies, If it can be thrown, he will throw it. He loves to EAT. Some of his favorites are yogurt, watermelon, crackers of any sort, soup, macaroni and cheese, and a new favorite strawberry jam. He can shake his head when you say "no no no" he is starting to say "Mama and uh-oh". He definately has a temper and there are certain time when I feel like he will be a handful when he gets a little bit older. He loves to wrestle with his brother, pull sisters hair, steal their toys. He has a smile that would make anyone feel better, he has a sweet laugh and loves to be tickles. Jackson is so happy it is contagious. I don't know what I would do without him. Jackson you complete our family!
