Yosemite

We had to take a picture of a squirrel.  These little boys (Maybe 8 or 9 years old) walked by and were so interested in the squirrels.  They seriously called them chiuahuahua dogs, monkeys and beavers.  They acted like they never saw a squirrel in their lives, and of course their mother didn't correct them.

Sandy and Faye having a great time.  I love spending time with my aunties.  Wish Faye was here more often so we could spend more time together.

SugarPine Railroad

Carson's favorite part of the trip was watching the couplers slide together.  Crazy I know but this boy breathes and lives for trains.

Madison's first day of Kindergarten

Madison started Kindergarten today and couldn't be happier.  She was ready and LOVES playing school at home so I know that it wouldn't be difficult for her.  There are a lot of kids in her class this year.  I am hoping and praying that she makes some really nice friends that she can have over to play and do fun things with.  Her only complaint today was that it was too hot in pants, but I insisted she wear a dress her first day.  She is not very ladylike in a dress so pants it is.  I can't believe how grown up she looks here.  My favorite is the last one standing in line with her scrunched up nose.

Happy Birthday Jack Jack

Jackson's 2nd bday was spent in the pool.  His actual birthday we swam and swam, ate pizza and cake and ice cream.  His birthday party was spent at Mema and Papa D's swimming.  I forgot my camera for his party, so hoping others took pictures and I can get copies.  Happy Birthday Buddy, we love you.

Morro Bay trip

Lily was working so hard to dig a good size hole.  She was so irritated when the dog just went over and jumped right in.  He thought it was the perfect place to relax.

Family Fun

Madi walking her buddy Jack Jack.

We just had to get away before school started so we decided to venture off to the cool beach air.  We spent the afternoon at Morro Bay lounging on the beach and digging in the sand.  It was the perfect way to end our summer.
