My sweet little baby

Can't believe how fast Jackson is growing and still being a wonderful baby. He has slept all night long now for an entire week. He hardly fusses unless he has a wet diaper or wants to be held. e is eating 4 ounces from the bottle when he is at Grandma's and has been good to all of us. We love you, can't believe you are almost 2 months old. Where has the time gone?

A Play room??

Madi and Lily playing dress-up
Everyone enjoying a Sunny Delight juice. Carson looks about ready for bed. He always wants the juice but doesn't drink it, just likes to play with the lid.

We finally moved and the kids are so happy that they now have a playroom and their own kid table that they can eat their snacks on and get creative and artsy on. I was a little nervous about having all the toys in one room, thinking it would always be a disaster, but I am surprised at how easy it has been. The kids help clean up and enjoy seeing all their toys. Madison going to bed has been easier because not all of her toys are in her room. I love that my kids are growing up and becoming so independent.

Preschool

Day 2. She was supposed to be eating her breakfast but instead decided she needed to lay down. She was out in an instant

Day One, ready to leave. My little girl is all grown up and going to school!

Madison has finished her 2nd week of preschool and is just loving it. She did much better on her first day than I had expected. There were no tears, just a big hug and kiss. She goes to Preschool just 5 minutes away from my work and is able to be there all day from 7:30 - 3. She gets to ride to and from Madera with me on the days she goes to school so we get to chat and visit on the 30 minute drive. She talks about her friends and teachers and sings songs on the way home that they learned in school. She has had trouble waking up early because she has a hard time going to be on time. One thing that has been great about preschool is she will take a nap all by herself. She gets to pick a mat and brings her own pillow and blanket and crashes. Now at Grandma's she takes a nap much like preschool, just lays down and down she goes. Why wont she do that at home at bedtime????? Hoping Madison learns a lot and makes some good friends at preschool. All the teachers are wonderful and make dropping her off easy because they are so loving.

Still my baby

Carson is so independent and grown up but sometime he wants to be the baby. I have to keep the tray on the swing or this is what happens. I am happy he is a lightweight or I think the swing would be broken by now. Carson you will always be my baby!

My Jackson

Jackson is growing so much and changing everyday. Can't believe he will be six weeks old already (on Tuesday) and I will be going back to work. Jackson you are my sweet baby and we can't get enough of you. Mommy will miss you when she goes to work but knows that Grandma and brother and sister will love you and take good care of you. Kisses and Hugs!!

2 little monkeys

Monday the kids would NOT nap and Carson was in his crib crying when Madison decided she would go save the day and play with him. I heard the two of them laughing and walked into his room to find 2 little monkeys jumping on his bed. I tried to explain that the bed can break and Madison assured me it was OK because Carson had his big boy bed in the garage. I asked her where Jackson will sleep and she told me he could sleep on the bunk bed with Carson. Jackson hope your bed holds up for you and is not destroyed before you get to claim it.

Matchy Matchy

We can finally put the boys in matching clothes now. We had to wait until Jackson could wear 3 month clothes and Carson is finally in 24 months so for a short time, until Carson grows out of 24 month clothes we will be able to buy them matching clothes. I always wanted another girl to dress up and match Madison, but I think I may be satisfied with matching the boys.
