Remembering Macy

We had to put our sweet little Macy down yesterday. She had a really bad infection in her throat that was too bad to try to fix. The vet thought that it was already affecting her kidneys. She never acted sick or in pain, once we realized she was in trouble it was too late. I will miss my sweet puppy. You were a good dog Macy! We will miss you.

Christmas is coming

We couldn't wait to put up our Christmas Tree. We put it up last night while Auntie Mel and the kids were here to help. Our challenge will be to keep Carson out of the tree and Madison from opening the presents. She keeps asking if she can open them and I am sad to tell her no. This year will be a good Christmas.

giddy up cowboy

Gotta love the boots our cousin Grant gave us. They don't quite fit us but we had to wear them anyways on Sunday. Our little cowboy loves to ride the rocking horse, we couldn't resist taking pics of him on the pony. Carson is such a fun loving boy and we are so blessed that he is in our lives. Thank you Lisa and Grant for the cute boots.

pudding paint

Madison was watching Jon and Kate plus 8 with me a couple of weeks ago and they were doing pudding paint. Madison could not stop thinking or talking about it so we ventured out and tried it ourselves. Madison and Lily had so much fun painting and eating the paint. They were getting very creative. They were upset we had to throw the art away, don't need any ants. Carson was happy just to be able to eat the pudding and nilla wafers. Now every time we eat pudding we have to remember we are not painting. Madison has always enjoyed painting and getting crafty.

Park Day

We spent the afternoon at the park. The weather was hot (about 80) so we decided to have a fun day for Mommy's birthday. The kids had fun but were fading fast so we quickly left so we could have a nap. We had lunch, fed the ducks and played for about an hour on the swings and slides.

Ears update

Here is a picture showing off Madison's cute ears. She loves them and loves to take pictures of her ears. She is just so darn cute. I should have washed her face before snapping the picture, but she is adorable regardless.

Our Big girl

Madison has been asking for a long time to get her ears pierced and I have been wanting to do it but didn't want to subject her to the pain and tears. Today I decided to do it. We went to the mall with Aunt Kristi, Aunt Melissa, Aunt Stacey, and Mema. We took her to claires and she picked out her earings (purple, which happens to be her birthstone). She was such a big girl, did not act scared and believe it or not didn't even cry. She was such a big girl. Here is a picture, when I get my camera back we will post a new picture of her cute ears. She loves having her ears pierced and is loving showing off and showing everyone. I felt much better about subjecting her to the pain when she said it didn't hurt and didn't cry. I felt much better about that.

Halloween fun

We had a wonderful halloween. We had dinner at Auntie Mel's and went trick or treating (ok, maybe only about ten houses, but that was enough). We had surprise visitors from The Sacramento Slys and that was fun to see all the kids. Here is a picture of me and the kids before we went trick or treating. I will upload more pictures after I get my camera back from Aunt Mel's house. We love halloween and are already thinking about how to dress the kids next year. Lots of good ideas.
