  • Oprah - she has a way with making me cry.
  • The Biggest Loser - just need to start eating better and exercising more -- Note to self.
  • Survivor

  • gave both my kids a bath
  • folded laundry (Oh wait, that was on my TO DO list but didn't happen)
  • did the dishes (Oh wait, I do that every day)
  • read about 8 different books about pumpkins to Madison while Carson was in bed. He missed out on the fun, was way too tired and grumpy
  • Tried to put Madison to bed in her own bed.... Will keep trying (actually right now she is asleep in her own bed)

  • California Wok
  • Tahoe Joes

Bath fun

I look forward to giving my kiddos baths. They both love being in the tub. Carson crawls all over the place and doesn't seem to mind if his sister is in his way, he just plows over her to get whatever toy he sees and wants. It never fails Carson is screaming when it is time to get out, he would stay all day if I let him. Carson hates to get dressed, it interferes with his time playing, he often plays naked in his room until Sissy gets out of the bath and then they get dressed together. We haven't had any messes yet (knock on wood). I couldn't resist posting this cute shot of his bum bum.

Gaga and Carson

Madison getting the hula hoop on the pumpkin

We had a halloween party last night and the kids (15) had fun. We played a couple games (Boo Charades, pumpkin ring toss), adorned ourselves in halloween tattoos and carved pumpkins. We set up our projector outside and watched a movie on our garage door. Ok we watched 2 movies (Its the great pumpkin charlie brown and haunted mansion) We decorated cupcakes and ate way too much junk food. We had fun, here are a few of the pics from our fun evening. Think we will do it again next year! Happy Halloween to all!!

Big ga-girl

If anyone has been around Madison lately she will not forget to tell you that she is a big ga-girl. She says it about everything and thinks she is all grown up. She wants to get herself dressed, go potty by herself (That is nice), put her car seat on herself, the list goes on. She is getting so big so fast. She is fascinated with letters and the alphabet. She knows about half of her alphabet (a,d, e, f,i, j,k,l,m,o,q,s,u,w,z) Yes she can recognize the letters. It was so cute we were taking a walk a few days ago and we saw a MOR furniture truck delivering furniture and she said "Momma, M... O.... don't know) She loves to read ABC books and do ABC puzzles. She is a sponge and is learnng so much so quickly. She has been a stickler recently (actually always) about going to bed at a decent hour. We have been trying to get her to bed early, but it never fails she goes to bed the same time I do. Which is usually 11 or 11:30. I know this is awful and it is my goal to have her asleep by 8:30. Yes, now she is awake going through the kitchen looking for treasures in the junk drawer. Well we are off to try to get our little princess to bed. If she does she knows she can take a lollipop to gaga and papa's tomorrow. Life is good when you are 2.

Fun on the Pumpkin Farm

Carson and Madison mowing the lawn
Hop in Sis, we have work to do.

All the kids, too cute!!
Carson driving the train
Time for a nap, sorry I didn't get any pics with Madison with a really good smile, guess that is what happens without a nap.

We spent the afternoon at Hillcrest Pumpkin Patch in Reedley with the Harris Clan. We had so much fun and the kids really enjoyed it. There was a really neat train for the kids to ride, pumpkins all over to see and a really fun tree house for the kids to play in. Here are some pics from our Saturday adventure. Can't wait to go again next year.

Happy Birthday to our Lily Bug

Happy 6th Birthday Lily, we had a wonderful day spent with you. We love you more than you know. Can't believe you are already six years old.

Perfect Day to fly a kite

Tonight we went outside to get some fresh air and was greeted with the wind. We were going to take a bike ride, but decided it would be more fun to go fly our kite. We went out to the field where houses will be someday and had some fun. Madison was having fun holding the string and Carson was having fun just watching and taking it all in. I think it may have been too windy but we had fun regardless. Some of the neighbors came out to join us, it was a good night.

Fun at Great Grandma Dorothy's house

last night we went to Grandma Dorothy's for dinner. Madison got to play with her second cousins, Maryann and Dillon. They had fun sitting together eating dinner at the little kid table. So glad that there are always kids around for Madison to play with. Maryann was always wanting to hold Madison's had and give her kisses, too cute!

She's a baker

Madison helped me make oatmeal chocolate chip cookies this afternoon when she woke up from her three hour nap. She had fun and loved the beaters. Most of all I think she had the most fun washing the dishes. This is such a fun age, we are enjoying each other. We will eat the cookies tonight after dinner and now we can give one to Carson, he can officially have chocolate now that he is one.

A is for .....

A is for Apples

A is for Airplane

A is for Abby, come on Madison, smile!

We also talked about stuff that starts with the letter A. Here are some pics that one day will be in an alphabet book, thanks to Lisa's cute idea.

Apple Fun

Last week Madison and I attempted to have Mommy and Me preschool. We learned about apples. I am looking forward to this next week. We are going to study Fall leaves. Here are some pics of our painting adventure.
