Carson's Birthday Bash

We celebrated Carson's Bday Saturday. We had a wonderful time and all the kids had a blast. Carson was so happy and a delight. He didn't fuss but was EXHAUSTED. He didn't care too much about the cake, would rather take a nap. We had fun and Carson got a lot of nice toys for his special day. He loves wheels, and now has a lot of wheels to push around the house. Thanks for everyone who came and shared the special time with us.

Happy Anniversary

Happy 1 year anniversary to our Aunt Kristi and Uncle Matt. We love you and can't to meet our new baby cousin.

the weather was so nice yesterday we had to get outside and play. We had fun (the girls, Carson stayed home with Gaga) but our trip was short lved, maybe 15-20 minutes, madison had to go potty so we left, but had fun playing. this was the first time Madi would go on the slide by herself, she is usually scared and wants someone to go with her.

Clovis Fest Balloons

Yesterday we went to watch the hot air balloons launch in Clovis. It is so neat to see them up close and all they have to do to get ready to launch. Yes, we had to wake up at the crack of dawn but was fun to watch. We went last year (the morning that Carson was born, yes I was in labor walking around looking at hot air balloons, I never relax!!) and think we have found a new tradition. We met cousins there and all had fun. When we were all done we went to our favorite breakfast restaurant for yum yum breakfast.

5 more minutes

Lately Madison has turned into a little chatterbox. Just recently when we say it is time for bed, or lets go put on our jammies, she responds "5 ninutes (minutes) more". She is just having so much fun. Starting on Monday we are going to be having "Mommy and Me Preschool" I am planning on doing different things in the evening with our little girl. Next week we will be studying all about apples so when you see Madi, ask her how her school is going and what she has learned about apples. I think she is most excited about painting.

We had a quick visit with the Sly's in Lincoln. We had fun seeing the kids. The kids had fun at the "fountains" ( a fun shopping center in Roseville) Grant and Loren love having their cousins over and it sure is nice to see them too. Love you guys!

Gotta love the glasses

Well I couldn't resist putting these cute pics of Madison up on the blog. She was too adorable with her glasses. Yes, I know she has them upside down, but prefers them this way, I don't know why. She does look extremely bored, but was really having a lot of fun.

dress up

Madison loves to play dress up with her cousin Lily, they will make costumes out of nothing ( I can't wait to raid the halloween clearance) Here are a few pics of them having fun together. I need to shop yardsales adn try to get some dress up clothes that fit Lily, she is still trying to squeeze into the dress up clothes that she gives us. Love watching girls be girls. Of course whenever Madison dresses up she has to have a baby to love on. It is too cute!

She loves to dress up. Here our little bunny is hopping around the house sneaking up on her daddy. We love playing dress-up, but unfortunately the bunny costume is put up, she is way too big for it, but had fun regardless.

A case of the grumps

Don't know what has gotten into my son but today he has been so GRUMPY. I don't know if he is getting teeth or what, but definately not in a good mood. Here he is fighting (or screaming and crying) at his sissy and she keeps telling him "No, mama titchures (pictures) She wanted to look at the picture album and I told her to sit on the couch so Bubba didn't get them and he found a way to get them regardless. I don't like when they argue with each other but I guess that means they are normal, right? He definately needs to be napping all day. Hopefully he will feel better if he takes another nap. I guess we will try. Until then, Calgon take me away!!!

Giddy-up cowgirl

A sweet friend gave us this horse that Madison just loves to ride. She has always been a fan of neighs and now has a very large neigh in her living room. We desperately need a play room. Our living room becomes our playroom and we just keep putting the toys away.

We had a good Labor Day, went to an early pancake breakfast at the church, spent some time cleaning house, and went to Mema's to relax and play. We finished it all off with a BBQ at Gaga and Papa's house. What fun

We went up to Lincoln this weekend to celebrate Loren's 2nd birthday, Morgan's baby blessing and visit with family. We had fun and the kids all loved playing together, so we think, maybe??? Here are some pics of just some of the fun that was happening. We wish we had more opportunities to have all the kids play together. I didn't get any pics of the bday girl or Morgan in her cute little dress but they are priceless pics.
